I have also found Etsy to be a godsend when ordering invitations! I have recently been organising a Hens party for my future sister in law and Kym from Rosie Day Design has been fantastic!

I chose these two and the process couldn't be easier. You simply purchase the design, email Kym the details and she sends you a proof. A bit of back and forth and you have yourself a pdf to print out! EASY!

Etsy Finds - Birdy & Me

I love love love Birdy & Me's, girly illustrations and cards by artist Kelly Smith.  Kelly's work reminds me a little of my fave artist Leigh Viner, which is why I am so drawn to these designs.

I was really excited to find that Kelly has also co designed cushions, cards and make up bags that are simply devine.

Etsy Finds - Bird Ave

Continuing with my slight obsession with affordable and unique art I am excited to share Bird Ave with you!  They make fantastic skyline prints of cities, towns and tourist spots around the world, and can also customise prints for you!  So you don't have to have the neon blue pictured below, you could have lime, pink or orange to name a few!

Below is my town, Melbourne, and also Bora Bora!

There are many many more cities available, so you can purchase the skyline of a place you have visited and loved, or of your home town. They are only $20 each, so you could start a collection!

Decorating with vintage prints

As I have said in previous posts, I love affordable and great looking art.  Especially the kind that you can easily frame with frames from good 'ol Ikea or Target.  I also love the mix of vintage with modern in interior design, and what better way to mix these but through simple and easy art prints!

Caitlin over at Caitlin Wilson Design framed some art prints she bought in a flea market in Paris, tres chic!

Street Art

I stumbled upon these images on Tumblr, originally posted by Glee's Dianna Agron (Quinn).  I then had to find more and more details about these amazing geometric lines.  Created by artists Lang/Baumann in 2010, their brief was to bring art to  the Swiss Ski Town of Vercorin to create a work that incorporated the whole village.  And that they did.

Those images really take my breath away!

Cozamia Art

You may have seen Nancy Ramirez's prints appearing in interior images all over the internet.  They are a beautiful mix of pattern, shape and femininity that would make a real statement in your home.  As a big fan of affordable art work, I am really excited by her designs, and currently have my eye on her "Night Peonies" work.

Picture Arrangements

I am a little hopeless at picture arranging.  So far I have three prints above my bed that are in a straight line.  That's it.  Although I am mighty impressed with the fact that they are level and evenly spaced.  That took some work.  When i see images like the spaces below, I get a little jealous and think I could never mimic that look without copying it completely...

Another great tip is to cut out pieces of paper the same size as your pictures and then Blu-Tak them to the wall before hammering anything in.  Smart thinking.

The next step is to chose your pictures and frames, to get that eclectic mis-match just right.
