My affordable Etsy art hunt continues with this gorgeous find: Jessica Illustration

I have also found Etsy to be a godsend when ordering invitations! I have recently been organising a Hens party for my future sister in law and Kym from Rosie Day Design has been fantastic!

I chose these two and the process couldn't be easier. You simply purchase the design, email Kym the details and she sends you a proof. A bit of back and forth and you have yourself a pdf to print out! EASY!

Etsy Finds - Birdy & Me

I love love love Birdy & Me's, girly illustrations and cards by artist Kelly Smith.  Kelly's work reminds me a little of my fave artist Leigh Viner, which is why I am so drawn to these designs.

I was really excited to find that Kelly has also co designed cushions, cards and make up bags that are simply devine.

Funny Sh*t

You all know that i love to shop on Etsy, particularly for unique art pieces.  But you know when you throw a few key words into the search bar and something completely random/ugly/useless/'wtf is it' pops up?  Well I was recently introduced to a website that showcases these amazing finds and it is quite possibly the funniest website I have seen in a long time.

Apparently selling nude photos of yourself on Etsy is a great way to make money.  Who'd have thought.

Etsy Find - El Rancho Relaxo

Apart from having probably the coolest store name, this Etsy store has some seriously cool cushion style. 

Based in Melbourne (my city), these cushions are on trend with neon aztec and gold chevron amongst some of the designs.

These cushions are a steal at $29 without insert or $39 with, plus worldwide shipping.

Etsy Finds - Tilly Maison

I love lucite trays as a practical and stylish accent in interior spaces. I always intended on purchasing a Dabney Lee tray eventually, but they dont ship to Australia, which means having to use a shipping company. Overall fussy and expensive.

Then I found Tilly Maison, and I am soooo rapt! Her designs are tres chic and also ship worldwide. Happy!

I am particularly keen to purchase the gold leopard!

The Bedroom Series - Whites and Grey

Today's post I continue on the fun task of sourcing different bedroom looks for my friend Chelsea!

In bedrooms, whites and greys are calm and restful, but they do not need to be boring! By incorporating different textures and patterns you can bring this neutral pallet to life.


Here is my inspiration room. I love the old bin as a side table, genius!

Etsy Finds - Bird Ave

Continuing with my slight obsession with affordable and unique art I am excited to share Bird Ave with you!  They make fantastic skyline prints of cities, towns and tourist spots around the world, and can also customise prints for you!  So you don't have to have the neon blue pictured below, you could have lime, pink or orange to name a few!

Below is my town, Melbourne, and also Bora Bora!

There are many many more cities available, so you can purchase the skyline of a place you have visited and loved, or of your home town. They are only $20 each, so you could start a collection!

I also love this 'coffee isn't a drug, it's a vitamin' print.

Jewels and Quartz and Chanel

I think i gasped with delight at the images of Chanel's Paris show earlier this week.  The pillars of amethyst and quartz were truly beautiful, but I expect nothing less from Karl.

Lana from Honey Pie Designs makes custom cushions, bags and iPad covers.  Based in NYC, her style is cute, functional and modern.  Her cushion designs are very versatile, would make fab gifts, particularly for someone decking out a nursery.

Cute right?  And remember her items can be customised to have your favourite colour or name printed!

My latest Etsy find is original photography studio 'Eye Poetry Photography' by Irene Suchocki. Through her beautiful pieces, she aims to take the viewer through a secret doorway, into a previously unseen world.  I think she does that quite well!  Check out these beautiful prints.

Etsy Finds - Bambina

This weeks Etsy find is Bambina, a leather goods maker out of NY.  Only their leather goods are a little bit special.  Bambina make bright and shiny wallets, coin purses, iPhone and iPad cases and bags, all which would make great gifts!  (or self presents ;))


All products are made out of imported lambs leather and are super cute.  And the bonus is if you are like me and DON'T have an iPhone (im an android gal) and are sick of all the cute cases not fitting your phone, well Bambina can custom fit their pouches, fantastic!

Etsy Finds

This weeks' Etsy find is courtesy of the Melbourne based "the Love shop".  Gorgeous modern typography is their specialty, and the prints are suitable for a modern space, kids bedroom, or as part of a collage of prints.


They have a variety of sizes, and mine fitted neatly into frames from Target.  I am always a fan of easy framed pictures that dont require expensive custom framing.
